I'm a freelance audio engineer operating from Frankfurt am Main in Germany. I've been recording and mixing bands in my studio in Frankfurt and live on stage since 1993. From 2004 onwards my emphasis has been on live sound reinforcement and front-of-house mixing.

My work has included:

FOH Supporting act for the German Tour of Simply Red, FOH Supporting act for Wishbone Ash, Monitor Supporting act for Lenny Kravitz, FOH for a contestant of Stefan Raab's Bundesvision Contest, live sound recording over several years for the networked TV-Programme "Newcomer-TV" and FOH work at a number of live festivals in Europe. I also work at a number of clubs and smaller venues in and around Frankfurt.

My musical experience ranges from metal, alternative rock, soul, rn'b, hip-hop, salsa, jazz, arabian and big band music to a-cappella. Since 2005 I've been responsible for the technical coordination and FOH at the yearly "Night of the Voices" - an a-cappella festival in Darmstadt, Germany.

I know the acoustical properties of a great many instruments and the audio characteristics of most microphones and nearly all analogue and digital consoles that regularly find use in cotemporary live sound reinforcement.
